Student Voice & Council

Each year students nominate members for our Student Councils. At Bedford and Shuttleworth campuses we have the Student Voice Group, which is run for students, by students, and is supported by Student Services. We also have the Student Council at The Bedford Sixth Form.

Candidate's speech

The Student Voice Group aims to:

  • improve student life at Bedford College
  • gives students a voice in the running of the College
  • organise fun and fund-raising activities
  • represent your interests on College committees such as the Safety Committee or Board of Governors
  • produce a student magazine.

Each meeting will include a topic of discussion, but there will also be the opportunity for student reps to feedback on more general issues/ideas at every session.
